Stannah Stairlifts
Manufacturing – two B2C sales videos, one B2B sales video.

Stannah are a family owned business, proud to manufacture in the UK from their main centre in Andover, Hampshire. Fiona Neil, Marketing Manager, wanted to create fresh new videos that would reflect the Stannah promise and showcase new products - both to the customer and local authorities.

Project scope – pre-production, script preparation for interviews, filming, editing and grading.

Project length – 12 weeks.

We worked alongside Fiona Neil with help from Stannah’s media specialist, Marcia Johnson, to cover every aspect of Stannah operations from the Stannah Promise through to design, customer service, manufacturing, installation and customer testimonials.

Over the production period we interviewed members of the Stannah family, top management and employees -ensuring we had a full and complete overview of the process. To show the product in use and create sales and installation scenarios we constructed a home set at Stannah’s specialist photography and video studio.

The Cats Pyjamas helped turn initial style ideas into a fully dressed set including a lounge, hallway, stairs and landing. The chairs and carriages are manufactured entirely in the UK giving Stannah complete control over quality and speed of delivery. The carriage manufacture is incredibly complex, with a combination of fabrication from sheet steel and high tech electronics all to exacting safety and quality standards.

One of the most incredible statistics came out of the filming- only 5 orders out of over 38,000 were late - and that was only by one day - a testament to their incredible passion for their product and service.

Customer testimonials were to form an essential part of the message, Stannah and the employees are passionate about creating a product that improves peoples lives and helps them stay in their own home. It seems that the customers are happy too, this quote from Mrs Pottinger following the installation of the stairlift says it all ‘We’re living again’.
