A colour palette creates a mood and –when used consistently – ensures that your work looks unified, giving your brand a professional image. Colour can really make animation and motion graphics stand out, but it's important to follow some basics on how to use it.
How do I create a colour palette?
If your're not sure which colours –or how many – to use, then our advice is to keep it simple and follow the brand. Most brands male use of two primary colours and one accent colour, so be sure to apply this simple formula:
2 primary + 1 accent = optimal colour palette!

Feel free to experiment with lighter/darker tones of these colours to help with highlights and shadows, and to create gradients, if you're not going for a flat look.
